🌙 Community Guidelines

When attending Bloom we ask that you conduct yourself in alignment with our Community Code of Conduct:

1
:: Protective Spaces - Building a safer environment at Bloom

Everyone who attends Bloom is expected to uphold an environment of consent and respect for one another. We strive to make Bloom a safer and inclusive space for all guests and expect all crew and patrons to adhere to this standard. Any hate speech, aggressive, or non-consensual behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone who acts disrespectfully will be asked to leave.

Take care of each other. If you experience or see someone that needs help or a situation that looks questionable or uncomfortable please bring it to our attention: reach out to the event security staff, Bloom crew, or any of the event organizers. Bloom encourages everyone to take responsibility for the environment we are co-creating. Be aware of and respect each other's personal space. If someone says no or asks you to leave them alone, listen to them and accept their “no” with grace.

Remember: Respect yourself, each other, and the land.

2 :: Sustainability and Leave No Trace

Respect bloomland and leave it as beautiful as you found it. We are visitors on this land and ask that all attendees are mindful of the waste they may be bringing into bloom and to be responsible for their impact. Leave wasteful packaging at home.

🔹 Pack in what you pack out.
🔹 Double check your campsite for any waste before you leave.
🔹 Do not leave used toilet paper in the forest - we will need to pick it all up! Instead carry a ziplock bag with you for your garbage and place it in the appropriate receptacle.
🔹 If you are a smoker, make sure you have a receptacle for your butts on you at all times.
🔹 Help our Eco Warriors out! If you see any MOOP (Matter Out Of Place), Please pick it up and place it in the appropriate receptacle.

3 :: Celebration with Intention and Action

Bloom encourages attendees to review and understand our core roots, found on our website. We have the privilege to gather and celebrate on these lands and we ask that you consider ways in which you can support your local community in being more equitable. We encourage our community to reflect on actionable items that we can all do to create an equitable world. What can you offer?

4 :: Play

Bloom encourages you to engage your inner child to play and have FUN - After all what is a festival but a playground for your senses! Interact with art that invites you to do so, dance like no one's watching, Express your inner self through your outfit and style! Have FUN with it!

Remember: Always respect the boundaries of others and be aware of the space you take up. Always be respectful of others, yourself and the land.

5 :: No Portable Sound

To respect the neighbours and enjoy the peace and quiet of the land, portable sound at loud volumes heard from afar will not be permitted.
